My photo
Being a modeller for quite a few years now, I decided to explore the endless possibilities that the world (through internet) offers, and come up with a series of ways of building, modelling and painting fast (but not hastily), to create the worlds I was seeing in history books since I was little. . .If you care to join me. . . This is the place to be! And, I promise you to find the way (or ways)!!

S & S Models Lamp Posts - on the field!

Good day everyone!

Last weekend, I managed to finish the 50 lamp posts I got from Sands Models, a company which is located in UK and produces dozens of nice things for our hobby, as I told you again in my previous post.

They came out (painted) really easily - I think it is easy to paint sth black!
And since it was weekend, I had some free time, to deploy most of the terrain pieces I made so far next to my newly finished lamp posts. As you can see they get ''along'' quite nice!

If you want to order for some lamp posts, email Mr. Shaun Matthews ( ), and refer to the lamp posts he made for a crazy Greek in Athens!!

I hope you like 'em!

W.I.P -S & S Models Lamp Posts

Good day everyone!
Some days ago, I bought some Lamp Posts (metal) from Sands Models, a company which is located in UK and produces dozens of nice things for our hobby.
The level of service was great - the whole order, preparation, dispatch, receive thing was done in a week!Mr. Shaun Matthews ( ), is a great professional (I don't get any commission for saying that, don't get me wrong here)! :-)
The Lamp Posts are full of details and they surely look the part (as my friend Paul from NZ likes to say)!
As you can see from the photos, I based them on coins, and after that I primed them black (no photos unfortunately - you can always let your imagination run wild!!!).

I'll post the photos of the painted models, as soon as I finish them (50 Lamp Posts are quite enough....).
So stay tuned!

Zvezda's Soviet Anti Tank team - Finished!

Good day and good week everyone!

Last night I finished painting Zvezda's comrades, equipped with the long-barelled anti tank rifles.

This time (since the kit contains four figures - two gun elements), I decided to paint one pair for fighting in the vast steppes of the homeland and one pair for ''dog'' fighting in the city. I have something in mind for the future. . . :-)

I hope you like them!

Zvezda's Soviet Anti Tank team

Good day everyone!

Yesterday I bought two kits of Zvezda Soviet Anti Tank teams (#6135).
The price was rather reasonable (3.2 euro / kit), and the figures came up very easily. A good buy!

Now I must paint them - so stay tuned! :-)

Did you miss me???

Good day everyone.....

After almost two months since my last post, I decided to show up again. . .
Many things have happened during this period, some good (holidays, house renovation...) and some bad (relationship stuff, business trips and seminars...).
While living all these stuff, I was visiting my friends blogs (you guys keep on doing some terrific work)!
I am about to start rolling again, but before I do, I wanted to apologize for my long absence. I hope you understand...

Cheers mates!
